FRP Fiber Reinforced Polymer Truss
Cheaper than similar products made of steel!
Composite diagonal flexible ties are much cheaper than traditional flexible steel ties
They are used in the production of three-layer reinforced concrete wall panels and are designed to connect all layers of panels to each other. Designed to replace similar steel products. Increase the thermal resistance of the wall three-layer panel up to 23%
Composite diagonal flexible ties design
A flexible tie is a product consisting of two guides - composite parallel rods of a periodic profile - fastened to each other by a composite diagonal rod by means of a fixer made of polymer material
H - height of the flexible tie; L - length of the flexible tie; l - wave step of the diagonal rod of the flexible tie; R - bending radius of the diagonal rod of the flexible tie; d - diameter of the flexible tie rods; h - distance between the guide rods of the flexible tie
What properties does composite reinforcement have?
Corrosion and chemical resistance
No fear of chemical impact and moisture, which affects the durability of the use of materials, and the possibility of their use at any time of the year
The tensile strength of composite rods and mesh is 3 times higher than similar product made of steel
Tensile strength
Does not form "thermal bridges", which improves the thermal insulation parameters of the construction site
Low thermal conductivity
Even in severe frosts, composite reinforcement does not lose its properties. The temperature threshold for use ranges from -70°С to +100°С
Heat resistance
The lack of need for welding simplifies the installation - with wire-tying reinforcement, any worker can handle it with a minimum set of tools
Easy to install
Dielectric, no radio interference
Does not conduct electricity and does not interfere with the spread of the signal of mobile phones and the Internet
The shear strength of the composite mesh rods is the same as that of the similar product made of steel

What difficulties thermal bridges can cause:
Solves the problem of thermal bridges
Thermal bridges are local sections of the building through which increased heat transfer passes. Usually, thermal bridges are concrete parts in brick or block masonry, window and door lintels, etc.
Condensation leads to the appearance of mold in apartments, which harms the health of residents, and worsens the appearance of the home
Formation of сondensation
Increased energy consumption
The expensive heat escapes through the thermal bridges, so the heating costs of the building increase by about 30%
Reduced security
Thermal bridges lead to cracks, a decrease in the bearing capacity of the structure, which leads to an increase in the cost of building maintenance
Limit of durability under tension more than 1532 MPa
This indicator meets the requirements of clause 5.1.4 of GOST R 54923-2012, no less than 1000 MPa

Testing of composite ties
We tested a three-layer external wall sandwich panel made using composite diagonal flexible ties. The results were as follows:
Residual tensile strength from 77 to 89%
At tension after exposure in an alkaline medium of sodium hydroxide 0.01 H was 89.00%, and after exposure in an alkaline medium of sodium hydroxide 1 H was 77.62%
The maximum load is ~ 5 times higher than the control load in terms of strength
Shifting tests have shown that the maximum load is 5.88 times higher than the control load in terms of strength, and after 24 hours of fire exposure - 4.77 times. No cracks or signs of panel failure were found
Fire resistance limit is not less than REI 60
The fire resistance limit of the sandwich panel with diagonal flexible connections manufactured by RCE CJSC is not less than REI 30
